I was reflecting on some of my most memorable events that happened shortly after I arrived in Nashville. See this photo of my Yamaha keyboard. Ronnie Milsap played my Yamaha keyboard at a special promo event. I will always cherish that special memory. Here’s a special hello to my hero, the legendary Ronnie Milsap. Thanks Mr. Ronnie. You are the greatest!!!

I count it an honor to give a shout out to all my fellow Americans out there. If you serve or have served in the military, thank you for protecting the land of the free. As Lee Greenwood sings ” I am proud to be an American.”
See you later fans and friends,
John R.

I wore my John Rhodes t-shirt while I was in Georgia. I went into a cafe to place an order and the cashier asked me who that guy was on my t-shirt -

I replied John Rhodes “a dynamic country singer”
She replied “he looks like Vince Gill.”

Some of the old country song titles give a great valentine message , i.e. “Hello Darling”; “You are my Sunshine.”
LOVE TO ALL MY FANS OUT THERE ON THIS SPECIAL DAY - FEBRUARY 14, 2010.

I really enjoy music and performing. My musical talents are gifts from God.
Some have said that music ranks up there among the basic needs: 1) food 2) clothing 3) shelter 4) music. Surely, some can live without music, but the want to for music is in everyone of us.
Let’s celebrate music, as it is uplifting and relaxing. In my opinion, music is the purest of the arts!
I look forward to seeing you all real soon. I am working on a big project.

I enjoy listening to various types of music and songs. I like some of the older songs. Here’s a snippet from George Gershwin’s - Summertime Lyrics
“Summertime,
And the livin’ is easy
Fish are jumpin’
And the cotton is high
Your daddy’s rich
And your mamma’s good lookin’
So hush little baby
Don’t you cry”
