Here it is a New Year! My second cousin died on Thursday. He was 85 years old. He served in the WWII; he was wounded twice. He was ready to go too!
As America celebrates Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday and praises him as a great leader, just remember who taught Martin how to lead. JC was the greatest leader, philosopher, and minister that was ever born and Saviour to the world. His name is Jesus Christ, son of God. He was perfect. He sits on the right hand of God in heaven.
I look forward to a heavenly year. Good things are happening all around – even though the evil forces are still present. Let’s think about good news and share positive feedback -
Build a bridge over troubled water!
Happy New Year Friends and Fans,
John R.

Previously, I have commented on my favorite old song “Autumn Leaves.” This fall season brings back memories of being at my grandmother’s house and playing in the fallen leaves. She loved singing and music. “Autumn Leaves” was her very favorite song.
I hope you enjoy a special fall event that lends to music and the arts.

I was reflecting on some of my most memorable events that happened shortly after I arrived in Nashville. See this photo of my Yamaha keyboard. Ronnie Milsap played my Yamaha keyboard at a special promo event. I will always cherish that special memory. Here’s a special hello to my hero, the legendary Ronnie Milsap. Thanks Mr. Ronnie. You are the greatest!!!

I count it an honor to give a shout out to all my fellow Americans out there. If you serve or have served in the military, thank you for protecting the land of the free. As Lee Greenwood sings ” I am proud to be an American.”
See you later fans and friends,
John R.

I wore my John Rhodes t-shirt while I was in Georgia. I went into a cafe to place an order and the cashier asked me who that guy was on my t-shirt -

I replied John Rhodes “a dynamic country singer”
She replied “he looks like Vince Gill.”
